Description

Italcementi Cement 32.5 R is a high-strength standardized cement.
Italcementi Cement 32.5 R It therefore concerns all reinforced concrete works that do not require a high final resistance. Furthermore, its usual uses include:
- foundation structures; - manufactured products; - industrial flooring; - roads and highways; - road sub-bases and soil stabilization; - parking lots; - airport runways. Advantages:  In addition, the content of granulated blast furnace slag (21% ÷ 35%) gives the product resistance to chemical attack. Furthermore, its use is recommended for works exposed to moderately aggressive environments (aggressive CO2 and chlorides), including attacks by sulphates and solubilization of washing water (for the evaluation of the resistance of the product in relation to the individual cement plants, consult the Technical Assistance Service), and in contact with glycerides (oils and greases).  Finally, the hygrometric shrinkage and the heat of hydration, both contained in relation to the development of mechanical resistance, allow the use in demanding constructions from a design point of view, where however, in the presence of critical thicknesses, the use of a higher class cement could cause some inconveniences.
