Acoustic properties: The open cell structure of rock wool contributes significantly to improving the sound insulation performance of the roof on which the panel is installed. Laboratory sound insulation tests are available.

Fire behaviour: the panel, non-combustible, if exposed to open flames does not generate smoke or drops; it also helps prevent the spread of fire, a particularly important feature in the case of wooden roofs.
